Full Error Message:
An error has occurred:
The requested Modules module file could not be found or is not readable due to file permissions.
How can we fix this and does it impact live registrations?

I was able to restore a backup from yesterday, but am curious how to fix this error if it occurs again.

That’s pretty generic. Do you have more information about which module or file it references?

That’s all that displays, I’m not sure how to determine which module it would be referring two. If it helps, there was an error that was appearing on the page with the embedded registration form.

Sure, that might help. You might also look to see if there were any entries in the error log.
Did the Event Espresso files/version change between when something errored and your backup? e.g. what versions were you changing from and to?
