hey everyone i’m using the alternate registration page in event espresso, and i noticed that event espresso doesn’t track the users.
There’s a way so we can solve this?
thanks for helping
i mean track the users that use that function as event espresso usually does with the normal registration.
i’m using that to redirect them to another page (that changes every time) on my website with a particular function, since i can’t redirect them after they registered with the regular registration page of event espresso.
Once you setup the alternate registration link, then every registration will begin to use that link until you remove the link.
If you would like to get “click-through” data, then you can setup a plugin like Redirection and create a vanity URL like this:
example.com/go/event-12345/
The URL above should then forward to the destination URL.
Redirection will provide you with total clicks until you reset the stats.
Another option would be to use a shortener like Goo.gl instead of Redirection and then you’ll be able to receive basic analytics information.
Hope this helps!
