Hi, I wold like to enable users to create and modify their own workshop, but can’t figure out how to do that. Can you help? I have installed the ‘People’ plugin but the ‘user roles’ feature does not appear anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there Olivier,

The people add-on allows you to link people such as staff to an event. However, it does not create logins or user roles for these members automatically. Could you please share a link to the page where you saw this information so we can clarify?

Thanks

Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo, any clue how I could enable this? (the ability for workshop ‘managers’ to administer their own events). Thanks in advance.

Hi, that plugin is for Event Espresso 3 and isn’t related to the people add-on.

You can upload and activate this plugin which will create two new user roles in your WordPress site:

Afterwards, you can change the user role for an existing WP account and they’ll have limited access to certain areas of Event Espresso 4.
