Hi,
Is there a way to give the user the ability to choose a promotion type to be applied during checkout. An example would be to choose from a list of special discounts for students, unemployed or teacher.
Of course, there will be an upload functionality on checkout where the user has to provide proof of being a student/teacher.
My idea is to have a select drop down with the ticket selector where the user can choose which discount to apply.
I am just interested in finding a way to work around the current code to indicate which promotion should be applied on checkout. I am aware of the promo codes which can be manually submitted on checkout, but is there a way this can be done via code?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi there,
Yes, it will be possible to do this via code.
However, the level of customization required is not something we can provide on the forums and would be best done with the help of a developer, if you are not currently working with a one we have a list of developers familiar with Event Espresso here:
