Hi there –
Is it possible to allow users to register for an event and pay in installments? Ideally this would include initial registration and partial payment, and the user would be indicated as partially paid or in progress, etc. Then user can return to site to make additional payments as enabled for the event in site admin.
If this or a variation is available, could you point to documentation?

Hi Trevor,
Officially, Event Espresso does not support partial payments, so what you are trying to do isn’t available in the way you are requesting.
However, there is a workaround that can allow for partial payments that some users use depending on the use case. It involves create a ‘deposit’ ticket with a value of initial payment, having the user register onto that ticket and then use the attendee mover add-on to move the ticket to the ‘next’ value. The original payment will apply to the ‘moved’ registration so the next ticket value needs be the initial payment + X.
It means you need to manually move each registration this is for each time they need to make the ‘next’ payment.
