All my event are inactive and I also get an error “An error has occurred: The Event Espresso critical page shortcode for the Registration Cancelled page could not be configured properly.” But when I go to the page to configure everything seems ok at that page. This is very bad since I have many people waiting to register at the page.

Hello,
Could you login to your WordPress dashboard (WP-admin) and then go to Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Critical Pages and then save changes?
On the events appearing inactive, are you seeing that for your recent events in your events overview screen?

All the events that were active yesterday are now inactive even though subscription is not full and still time to register.

it is hosted on a server that I only have access to from my computer directly and not ftp. I can create a teamviewer access if you have teamviewer. Please let me know if you want me to do that.

I’m afraid TeamView isn’t going to be useful for troubleshooting this.
If you’d like a patch for the Registration Cancelled short code error, you can install this branch of Event Espresso 4.
If there isn’t anything modified in Event Espresso 4 code on your site, then there are some things we can check in the database. Can you send an export of the database to the support at eventespresso.com email address?
