All Date Times Show On Ticket

I have a recurring event each weekend with time slots every 30 minutes. When a customer purchases a ticket it shows all date times and not the day and time slot they purchased. How do I fix this?

Hi there,

All of your tickets are assigned to all of the datetimes and you’ll need to update each one.

Edit the event, on one of the tickets click the , you’ll notice it has a ‘Event Datetimes’ section and that tells Event Espresso the specific datetime the ticket is for.

You’ll need to update each ticket so that it only applies to the specific datetime you need and then save.

We’ve just recieved your support token request and I can log in and do this for you if needed but the above is all you need to do to fix if you prefer to do so yourself?

OK, I logged in and had a look at your event but I can see this isn’t going to work how you are expecting it to.

The above solution is correct in that it is how you assigned specific tickets to specific datetimes, but for that event to work how I think you want it to work you would need 132 tickets as each datetime would need its own ‘batch’ of tickets for the day.

So to confirm, each DateTime in that event has its own set of timeslots, correct?

I assume so so that on say September 26, 2020 they can book on any of those timeslots for the day. Then on the next event those time slots would all obviously be available again.

If that is correct then yes, you would need 132 ticket and with the current set up it likely going to slow the page to a craw and/or cause timeout when loading.

For this to work within EE you’ll need to separate that DateTimes into their own individual instances of events, each with their own group of tickets from 10am-4pm rather than using a single event with them all grouped in one.

My apologies for the delayed reply but I can’t see a trashed event in the calendar currently? Which date?
