Hi,

We’re running WordPress 3.8 and after installing the latest version of the Event Espresso plugins I have noticed that an Ajax loader is now showing.

Please see a screen shot below

Is this a new feature and is there a way of disabling this?

Hi,

It is a new aspect of the calendar yes, as the calendar now loads events every time a new month is selected, rather than loading them all up at the start. This is to improve calendar performance, but in case there are a few events or the page load speed is slow, the ajax loader icon is there to let the users know something is happening.

To disable, add the following CSS to either your themes style.css file or a plugin such as My Custom CSS:

#ee-calendar-ajax-loader-dv { display:none !important; }
