After recent upgrade, cannot manually apply payments

Whenever trying to manually apply a payment, we get the following error when trying to update an attendee:

An error occurred. The Primary attendee details could not be retrieved from the database.

We have always used three payment gateways:
Paypal, Check and Invoice.

Hi there,

Which version of Event Espresso did you update from? Which version is installed now? Can you try deactivating and reactivating Event Espresso? Reactivating should fire the database update script.

You helped me with this and had to roll back to an older version the other day, remember? Can you help me get everything back up and running properly?

Another issue now when trying to view Seminars:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function espresso_user_meta() in /var/www/vhosts/CDAA.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/event-management/event_list.php on line 395

It looks like this issue was resolved with the Roles and Permissions Basic update I applied to your website today.
