Josh, you sent an email but I couldn’t reply to it.
Hi Josh
Thanks for the reply.

This is what the plugin page looks like. It would appear to be activated as the option is to deactivate.

“Event Espresso – Stripe Gateway (EE 4.6.0+)
Deactivate
Stripe is an on-site payment method for Event Espresso for accepting credit and debit cards and is available to event organizers in many countries. An account with Stripe is required to accept payments.
Version 1.1.3.p | By Event Espresso | Visit plugin site

This happened before and my web advisor was able to fix it. Unfortunately he is no longer available for advice.

Hi,

I actually didn’t send you an email, I did reply to your other topic.

The Stripe Gateway you’ve listed here is not Event Espresso 4. So it sounds like you’ll need to reactivate the Event Espresso 4 plugin on the WP > Plugins page. Here’s a screenshot that shows exactly what the listing of the current version of the plugin will look like:

EE as shown in you link isn’t listed on the plugin page. Should I reinstall EE?

Yes. You can download the EE4 plugin from your account page. Then you’ll follow the steps listed here:

Hi Josh
This is the message I get when trying to download the plugin.

Unpacking the package…

Instaling the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home/stannes/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/

Plugin installation failed.

The above means that during the update, something failed on the server and the update failed…. but it left at least an empty plugin directory on the server which will prevent you from installing it again (because WordPress can see the directory it thinks it already exists).

To fix the above you’ll need FTP access (or some method to view the files on your server) then go to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the event-espresso-core-reg directory from there, then install the plugin as above.

Do you have FTP access to the server?

Yes access to C-panel where you use the File Manager will work just fine.
