We moved our site to root two days ago. We requested a license reset and then did the needed espresso update. After running a link checker and fixer, and a few other tweaks, everything seemed to be in place and looking correct. Here’s where we’re having issues: On our Event Page, “Register for Event” Shortcode when pressed, just causes spinning wheel. Same on Event Registration page after adding member pricing and/or refreshing total. On the same page, the little red button to click when cancelling that event gives us the spinning wheel. I’ve reset permalinks. Rechecked the pages to make sure all are in place with correct code etc. Not sure what is up here.

Can you please post a link to the website? |

Thanks. One of us will take a look tonight or tomorrow morning. Something else you might want to check is the file permissions on all of the Event Espresso files. Make sure they are executable . Sometimes when moving to a new server, the file permissions might get changed. |

Which files specifically? |

It looks like it is due to the HTTPS, the browser is picking up that the site isnt fully HTTPS just that page and it is blocking some of the content from being loaded. screenshot http://d.pr/i/YdLu Are you using the HTTPS addon? Maybe try turning it off. |

Ok. That did work. However, that makes our payment page unsecure. We are using Paypal Pro. The page should be secure. |
It definitely should be secured. Which method were you using to force SSL on the registration and payment pages? We recommend using the WordPress https plugin for this, and there is a helpful guide on its FAQ page that instructs how to fix partially encrypted/mixed content errors. From looking at the screenshot that Dean earlier posted, wp-admin/admin-ajax.php was getting loaded as http instead of https. If the theme or another plugin is linking this as http, then the path will need to be changed to a relative link. |

We’re using that plugin. I revisited the plugin site and ticked off the made admin secure. I think that was it because it’s now working. Thank you! |
