We are trying to get a site live with Authorize.net AIM credit card processing. The trouble is this:
The processing wheel spin and spins saying that it is processing. If we login to our Authroize.net account we can see that the charge for $1 was successfully captured yet the processing wheel keeps on spinning.
Eventually, there is an error message “This registration could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again”.
When you refresh the page the screen changes to “Congratulations
Your registration has been successfully processed.
Check your email for your registration confirmation or click the button below to view / download / print a full description of your purchases and registration information.”
In the backend of the site, the transactions are captured and show correctly.
This sounds like there’s an error being thrown at that point. You could check your site’s PHP error log for more details. If you don’t have a PHP error log, you can set up debugging by following this guide:
Just noting here that replied directly to your support token request and will continue to work on this there if there are any more issues.
