Hi,
In our event we have an optional lunch. Is there any functionality to sell it as an option of the main event? (with a flag or similiar). Only atendees to the main event can register for the lunch.
If not, what should we do?? create another event for the lunch?

Hi,
Currently the best way to go about it is to have the lunch as a separate event, making sure that the Multiple Event Registration add on is active.
This will be made much easier to do in future versions of Event Espresso.

Hi Dean,
Thank you for your answer. Actually we only have an event at the moment, so we found the solution of the different prices better because we eliminate one step and we go directly to data collection with the single event shortcode.
Then you choose between event WHITHOUT lunch, event WITH lunch or lunch and we create it in the pricing section…
This doesn’t control the eventual guy who gets into the site and buys lunch only… we should find, contact and refund him manually then. If you are including the functionality in future versions take care of:
-if eveyone can attend the lunch or only main event ateendees
-some way to allow attendees to buy the lunch later, not only in the moment of the registration for the main event.
