When will Stripe Payments and Calendar Table Template be available for EE4?

On a side note, I installed EE4… if I want Stripe Payments and Calendar Table Template… should I (downgrade) and get EE3 Business license?

Hi Peter,

Stripe is currently available through the Mijireh Checkout gateway we have recently introduced with 4.2 however the Calendar Table Template is currently not available.

On a side note, I installed EE4… if I want Stripe Payments and Calendar Table Template… should I (downgrade) and get EE3 Business license?

At this time if you require Event Espresso 3 functionality I would recommend using Event Espresso 3. EE4 has been designed so that you EE3 data can be migrated over once EE4 includes your required feature set.

Thanks so much for your quick response.

If I look at (in WordPress) Event Espresso > Payment Methods > … I see the following options: Invoice|Authorize.net AIM|Bank Draft|Check|PayPal Pro|PayPal Standard

How do I get Mijireh installed? Looking at Mijireh, I have to “slurp” (pay) and get it custom installed?

Which version of EE4 do you currently have installed?

Hi Peter,

That version should have Mijireh as a payment method by default.

Could you try de-activating, then re-activating.

Looking at Mijireh, I have to “slurp” (pay) and get it custom installed?

‘Slurping’ basically means that Mijireh will download the template (well actually the HTML output) from your Mijireh checkout page and install that template on their server for your checkout page, making the checkout page look the more like you regular pages.

When will the Stripe gateway be available for EE4? I don’t want to use Mijireh as I have a SSL certificate installed and I want customers to stay on my website.

Thanks for asking Ethan! I’d love to know too.

I am devastated that Stripe is not a direct payment processing option for EE4. I have tried using the Mijireh option and I cannot get it working properly and now they want $49.00 to help me. I would like to downgrade to EE3. I know I should not have assumed Stripe would be available on EE4 but I did and I think you guys need to put a better warning on the purchase page etc. so others don’t make this same mistake. NOT HAPPY WITH EE4!

@Phillis

We have tried to make this clear within the the feature list for EE4, in the case of Gateways we have separated the supported gateways for both EE3 and EE4

If you view this page:

http://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/

You’ll find the EE3 Gateway section and the EE4 Gateway section that list the gateways supported by each version.

May I ask what the issue you are currently experiencing is?

@all

We would love for EE4 to include as many features as possible and suit every customers needs instantly but unfortunately that is just not possible. We are small team working on providing the most stable codebase we can to include the features most required. EE4 is currently in Beta and we have been focusing all our efforts on making it ‘stable’ whilst adding new features.

If you would like to add your vote to our feature requests please use this form:

https://eventespresso.com/ee4-add-ons-feature-requests/

If you currently require Stripe for EE4 perhaps you would consider sponsoring the gateway development?
