Hola — I have been looking for a way in EE to be able to add additional pricing options to an event that you are registering for. Here is my example, I have a single event, with additional options: Event Main Event $10.00 Additional Options option 1 add $5 option 2 add $10 option 3 add $8 Total $XXX.00 I have read alot about using MER to implement this, but I have yet to find a clean way of doing this. Any help would be appreciated. It’s very un-clean when you have too add a slew of pricing options for everything and every possible option available. It is also a little messy when you turn MER on and all your events have “Register or Add to Cart” on everything.

Hi Ross,

In its present state, Event Espresso doesn’t allow the selection of more than one pricing option in one transaction without using Multi Event Registration. I can point you to this tutorial:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

If you’re only featuring one event (with its add-ons) it might be best to hide the page that lists the events from the site’s navigation (If it’s the page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode, please don’t delete it or make it private] and create a new page and you can use the SINGLEEVENT shortcode to display the event.

Thanks, however, I don’t want to use this hack.
I keep reading that this feature is looking to be added in the next release?

Hi Ross,

This is planned for Event Espresso 3.2, which is the next major release of Event Espresso. There are minor releases planned for Event Espresso 3.1 which are bug fix/enhancement releases. Event Espresso 3.2 will not be out for some time, so you might consider using the available feature set in the meantime.
