Additional Mandatory fields and ticket name input when buying more than 1

Hey guys, thanks for this great plugin!

The first thing that would be great is if we could add a couple of mandatory fields to the registration form: organization and professional title.

The second thing, which I’m just now realizing, is that if someone buys more than one ticket, the buyer only has to enter information for himself — not for the additional people (see below) for whom he’s buying tickets. Can you make it so that information has to be entered for every person? That is, if I try to buy five tickets, I should have to enter names, etc., for all five people.

Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated 🙂

The first thing that would be great is if we could add a couple of mandatory fields to the registration form: organization and professional title.

You can add additional questions and question groups within:

Event Espresso -> Registration Form.

There you will find sections for questions and groups. You can add your own questions, then create a group and assign those questions to that group –

Or you can simply add the questions to one of the system groups such as ‘Personal Information’ if you prefer

For example if I add a new question I go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form.

Make sure I’m in the questions section and click ‘Add New Question’ – http://take.ms/pwn92

Provide the details needed – http://take.ms/R0FeE
(To make the questions required be sure to set the ‘Required Question’ setting to required)

Then edit the Personal Information Question group – http://take.ms/EQT9e

Then click the checkbox next to the question you want to include in the group – http://take.ms/NBTGE

Click save and that’s it, its now added to the group.

This is done on a per event basis. Edit your event and look in the sidebar, you’ll find something like this – http://take.ms/nWYTa

You’ll need to specific which question groups you want to ask your additional registrants there.

For example, if you enabled ‘Personal Information’ there, then each of your additional registratns will be asked the questions from that group.
