How is it possible to add additional bookings to an existing registration / registration code?
That is, the delegate has already reserved for their attendance at EVENT1 but the optional EVENT2 was not selected which they then decided they would like to attend. Without asking them to initiate a new booking would we be able to add this to their existing booking somehow?
This would also assist where we could add charges for other services for delegates or charges to delegates (despite the terms and conditions) initiate payment methods that release charges to us which we need to reflect on their invoice at the time of arrival for the event.

Hi there,
Currently, you can’t add additional tickets etc to a current registration, you would need to cancel the original registration(s) and create another group registration selecting the correct tickets.

Thank you Tony. Is there any plan to add this functionality? It really is a let down compared to what we were able to achieve with EE3.
This being the case is there also not another way to link bookings with site users so that a record of bookings could be shown for a site user? This would allow admins also to create new “bookings” which might be additional charges or services and make them available for site user profiles.

We do have that feature on our roadmap here:

However we are currently working on other features of the plugin so it is not currently under active development/planning.

You can’t manually link registrations to users from within the admin, but are you using the WP User integration add-on?
If so you can use something like User Switching to switch to that user, then add an additional registration through the front end. As you are effectively logged in as that user at the time it will link the registration to their account.

1. Hopefully that feature is added soon – we have other events we would have to have the feature available.
2. This is great thanks. I am using User integration and will add the User Switching plugin to add this funtionality! Thank you.
