I am offering Family pricing and want additional family members to be listed, however I do not want to re-ask all of the system “personal information” questions for each person living in the same household. I found this problem in the forums, however it was closed with no viable resolution.
I also want to offer a Family registration for up to 8 members from the same family. I set up a bundle with 8 min and a max for $150, but then EE displays that 8 family memberships were purchased.
There are 3 system questions require to separate registrants out and by default those are the only 3 questions in the Personal Information question group:
First Name, Last Name, Email Address.
So may I ask which of those 3 system question do you not want to ask?
Currently, EE can not handle this use case well.
Ticket Bundles allow you to set a min and max qty of a ticket and then you set the price per ticket. Meaning for that bundle you would need to set the ticket price at 18.75 an EE will always allocate 8 registrations for that group.
The only other way to have a fixed price for up to 8 registrations is use a single ticket selection and then collect all 8 of the registrants info with custom questions. However, that will mean the group registration will show up as the ‘Primary Registrant’ only as you didn’t use the Personal Info group on individual tickets.
