1) Is there a way to add survive fee/surcharges in a separate column? Instead of it being under “show details”. User has to click that to show details and I would prefer to add it in a separate column?
2) How do I add taxes and where you they show up on the checkout page?

1) Is there a way to add survive fee/surcharges in a separate column? Instead of it being under “show details”. User has to click that to show details and I would prefer to add it in a separate column?
To do that you would need to create your own custom ticket selector template and also your own single page checkout templates that include the taxes within the tables and would need the help of a developer.

You can add difference types of taxes through:
Event Espresso -> Pricing
I’m not sure what you mean with the checkout page, can you explain further?
