hi

I am currently working through building my first site with ee4. can you help me with some questions please.

1. where are the default event start and end times set (mine tend to finish at 4:30pm / not 5pm)
2. why does the date picker jump to Oct13 when I am adding today?
3. the real pain point for me is course duplication. Nothing complex – we offer 6 or seven 1 day courses x20 times a month. i was thinking I could clone and simply change the start date
4. why can i not make a venue UK?
5. on an event i get this line ‘* Please note that a maximum number of 10 tickets can be purchased for this event per order.’ we can only ever sell 3 – where do i alter it please.

looking forward to hearing from you. best regards

Hi,

1) These are set and cannot be changed unfortunately. I’ll ad a feature request for this, but I can’t guarantee it will be taken up.

2) For the event start it jumps to a month ahead, so if you add an event today (15th Sept) it will show 15th Oct. The registration starts stays on the current day. This is because we assume most events start in the future allowing time for registration.

3) In the latest versions of EE4 you can use the duplicate button to copy an event. Currently we don’t have a system for creating large numbers of events in one go.

4) You will need to add the country via the General Settings > Countries tab. We have some plugins that can insert the data for you should you not wish to do this manually: https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-packs-states-provinces

5) Well, you can change that value there from 10 to 3. That sets the number of tickets that can be purchased in one go.

If you want to set the total capacity to 3, you can change this on other the datetime or the tick limit http://take.ms/lwn9m

I hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, please just let us know.

Hi,

You need to install it via FTP or your hosts Control Panels File Manager.

It cannot be installed like a regular plugin.

See here for instructions: https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-packs-states-provinces/blob/master/README.md
