Greetings,

Our client adds registrations manually (in the wordpress back end) for their members who fail to do it for themselves.

Due to human errors with adding registrations we have encountered some problems in the administration (wrong e-mail adresses etc).

We’ve decided we need to create a much user friendlier version to quickly add registration based on wordpress users’ credentials.

A list of all our members with a button next to each one that adds them as a registration to a selected event is what I’m going for. This way there is no possible way to register someone with the wrong credentials.

Is it possible to, somehow, hook(?) on or use an existing function within EE to add a registration with the firstname, lastname and e-mail adress provided.

I’m looking for a direction to get me started. If there is an even simpler way to realize this, please let me know.

Kind regards

Garth

Hi,

How are you today?

Two things:

1) Other users have described something like that in this feature request, which might give you some direction on building the UI: https://trello.com/c/3qDvvRgG/113-wp-user-integration-admin-side-registrations-add-ajaxified-text-field-that-autofills-for-existing-user-accounts

2) This type of question is best asked on GitHub where our core developers can give you more developer-level guidance: github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core

Does that help?
