Hi all,

I am trying to follow the instructions that I found here:

https://eventespresso.com/forums/2012/01/can-one-purchase-multiple-tickets-of-differing-price-levels-at-one-time/

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”cbsc1-508b4c7cde136″ direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]

My page is here, and the link does nothing. I cannot figure out why it doesn’t work. I have the correct licensing level for this.

https://www.indianaseed.org/event-registration/?ee=2

Thanks for your help. I will keep trying to see what could be wrong.

It looks like you need to change your event_id. It should be a shorter number, which is found in the ID column in Event Overview.

Example:

[ESPRESSO\_CART\_LINK event\_id="1" direct\_to\_cart=1 moving\_to_cart="Redirecting to cart..."]

Looks like that took me somewhere else, which is a step in the right direction. Now, I am looking to be able to have different price points and to be able to add multiple names under one registration.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks!

Hello Quincy,

Both multiple prices and multiple registrations can be resolved in the Event editor screen (either on event creation or late by clicking the event title in the Event Overview page).

If you scroll down on that page to the Prices section you will se a button called Add a Price, clicking that will add an extra price section that you can fill out. Click it as many times as needed.

On the right side of the screen you with have Event Options and there you can set the Allow group registrations? to allow one person to register for multiple people, Max Group Registrants to set how many they can register for (maximum) in one go and Additional Attendee Registration info? can be set to Personal Info only if you just require names and emails.

Hi,

I have done all that, but it looks like when I link to the cart, nothing happens. I have several prices along with the group registrations enabled, but the cart functionality is not appearing to work?

Hi Quincy,

Well your site is throwing up javascript errors left, right and centre, so that is probably a good place to start with the troubleshooting.

Two cases of Google fonts have been blocked as you are running HTTPS on the event page unnecessarily. Same with a facebook script, so I would turn off HTTPS for that page.

Some script called Superfish that your theme uses is not being found and therefore is causing an error as the theme is requesting it.

Once you have turned off HTTPS I would also change theme temporarily to the TwentyEleven default theme and test again, as its likely to be a one-two combo of HTTPS and theme issues.

I have removed the HTTPS and also one of the JS errors. There is one that I am unable to remove and I see it impacts the link for the add to cart on this page:

http://www.indianaseed.org/event-registration/?ee=2

Your help is appreciated. I just purchased a support token.

Thanks!

All js errors are now gone, but the add to cart link is still not working.

Hi there,

This took some time to figure out.

The first step was to install the Multi Event Registration add-on, as the cart functionality will not work without it. In this case, there were also 3 files that were missing in /event-espresso/templates:

shopping_cart.php, multi_registration_page_display.php, and multi_registration_page.php. These are all required to display the registration pages during the checkout process. I uploaded fresh copies over FTP to your server to restore them.

Finally, the event status was set to Draft. Draft events cannot be added to the cart. They need to be set to Public in order to be added the cart.

I re-activated SSL for the registration page, since you’ll likely need that to help secure the payment processing.

Thanks!!

When the payment processes, I still get this error:

Payment Overview
Class/Event: Corn Belt Seed Conference
Primary Registrant: Marianella Moreno
Payment Type: First Data
Payment Date: November 6, 2012
Amount Paid/Owed: $1.00

Payment Status: Incomplete
Registration ID: 2-50997cbe3b661
Transaction ID: <
