Does EE have an add to Calendar option that we can send within the messages for the events?

Hi there,

Yes, there is a [ICAL_LINK_*] shortcode available in the [DATETIME_LIST] * message shortcode editor, within the messages editor (Ex.: WP Admin > Event Espresso > Messages > Registration Approved). Looks like this within the editor:
