I’m using WPML and as far as I know, Event Espresso doesn’t support WPML out-of-the-box. Luckily enough, I have a solution that will help most of us using WPML. WPML Shortcodes provides a method to load the right locale within a page, message, text field or whatsoever. With this plug-in, it will be theoretically possible to translate our events created with Event Espresso.
However, I have find out that Event Espresso doesn’t support shortcodes in events, titles, descriptions (etcetera). Can someone help me with adding shortcode support?
Event Espresso already supports shortcodes in the sections that should shortcodes natively.
Looking at the plugin you mentioned it hasn’t been updated in over 2 years, with support threads going unanswered for well over a year. Personally, I wouldn’t consider using the above plugin a viable solution considering the above and if you start adding shortcodes all over your content you’ll be locked into using that plugin.
