Hello,
I received the attached error message when attempting to add new people. I have already attempted to troubleshoot by updating theme and disabling all plugins other than Event Espresso. No change, still receive the error message. Have also tried deactivating the people addon plugin, uninstalling, and then reinstalling. Still no change.
All other functions seem to be ok? Adding events with no issues.

Hi there,
That critical error page your seeing is the ‘front-facing error’, aka the ‘pretty error’. To troubleshoot this we’ll need to ‘real’ error being thrown and that should be saved in your server error logs (your host will usually have a section on their control panel to view errors).
So if you check you sites error logs around the same time you get the above page, do you see any errors from Event Espresso?
If not, are you comfortable with your hosts file manager or FTP?

Hmm those look like Apache errors rather than PHP errors.
Are you comfortable with PHP and or FTP/File manager?
If so, edit the sites wp-config.php, find the code that has:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );
Replace that with the snippet here:

Then retest the above and let me know when you have done so, I can then check a log file on your site too see the error.
If you are not comfortable with the above I can do it for you if preferred but I’ll need FTP credentials to do so, if you have those you can send them over using this form:
