Hey Folks,
I really need the Invoice as PDF Attachment on the confirmation mail. Its a requirement from my client. Could you help me with that? I know that I need custom code or a third party plugin, but its a necessary feature that I really need..

Hi,
I understand you would like to include a PDF attachment on the confirmation mail. You can actually custom an email template in Event Espresso and include a code for an invoice link to download
Add [INVOICE_LINK] or [INVOICE_URL] on any part of that “Email Payment Received Template”.
You can do this by going to
Messages -> Default Message Template -> Payment Received -> Create Custom button -> Main Content

Hi Hazel!
Unfortunately not really. Its actually implemented like this, but I need it to be attached as a PDF File directly to the Mail. I know that this is not implemented by EE yet, but I am also fine with custom code or third party plugins to implement this for now, since I really need this feature for my client and hope to get some help.

Hi Simon,
Event Espresso streams the download directly to the browser when you click the download pdf link, which means EE doesn’t ‘save’ a PDF for the transaction which you could then attach to the email.
This means you need custom development to create a feature that generates and saves the PDF locally (at least temporarily to attach to the email) and then custom development to include that within the email itself as an attachment.
To clarify, when we refer to custom development it would be a feature created by yourself/a developer outside of EventEspresso.com rather than something we provide for you. I’m not aware of any 3rd party plugins that will allow for this which means you would likely need the help of a developer to create this functionality, we have some developers familiar with Event Espresso listed here:
