Hi There,
I am having several problems with Event Espresso – 3.1.37.18.P on WP Version 5.5.3 on the Add Event page.
1. Date pickers are not displaying
2. Options on the page that should remain hidden until selected are all visible
3. Unable to delete event dates that should not be displayed anymore
Issues have been a problem for several weeks now. Was waiting for the latest updates to see if these issues were addressed but they weren’t so I am writing to you now. Would appreciate your help in dealing with these issues.
Thanks and regards,
Mark

Hi there,

You mentioned that the problems have existed for several weeks now. Do you recall installing any new plugins or updates to WordPress or updates to any other plugins around the time the issues started happening?

Also, what web browser are you using to manage the site?

Hi Seth,
Thank you for your reply.
I think the problems started after the last WordPress update.
I am using the Chrome browser Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,

What is likely happening is a there is a JS error being thrown on the editor, possibly from another plugin.

Open up Chrome Dev tools and check the console section, any errors?

Hi Tony,
Yes, lots of errors! Can you work out what is happening?
Regards, Mark

Hi there,

I’ve just pushed an update to the Recurring Events Manager add-on to fix this, please update to the latest version (1.1.9.p)

If you can’t see the update in your Dashboard go to Event Espresso -> General Settings and just hit save, that will force a version check.
