Hello,

I’m using EE4, the EE4 Calendar Addon, and displaying via shortcode. I would like the event venue to display on the calendar for each event. I found the following post: https://eventespresso.com/topic/widget-templating-add-location-change-date-format-remove-line-break/

Is there a comparable tactic for adding the event venue and location for the shortcode display?

While there isn’t a tactic that’s similar to the solution in that other topic, there is a filter hook that you can use to add the event location to the Tooltip that’s displayed on the calendar.

Here’s a link to some sample code that you can add to your site that will print the location of the event in the tooltip if Display Attendee Limits is set to Yes in the Calendar’s Advanced settings:

You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.
