Add event info to registration page

I found this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/edit-event-registration-template/ and was curious to see if the feature request was implemented. I would like to put the venue and datetimes at the top of the registration form.

Hi Kris,

No, the feature request ticket I used was closed due to the fact that the example code shown in that thread could be used.

That code is still valid and can be used to output the datetimes on the checkout page. You can use the EE model system to pull in any additional details you may need (including the venue):

So there is no simple way to repeat the Event info on the registration form page? By simple, I mean not having to learn how the EE model system works.

There is no option to enable for this so no, without custom coding there is no way to display that data where you are requesting.

Would the process be the same on the confirmation page?

The thank you page? Is so then yes, you would use a different hook but its very similar.

Generally speaking there are options to disable the data we already display or move it around a little on the same page its on, but to add additional details you’ll need some custom coding.
