Add Event Category to Invoice

Is it possible to add the Event Category name to the Invoice/Receipt under Messages > Default Message Templates > Invoice? I don’t see a specific shortcode available other than possibly [EVENT_META_*].

Hi there,

Currently, we do not have a shortcode within the messaging system to pull in the Event Category.

As it stands you would either need some custom code to add another shortcode specifically for the event category or use the EVENT_META_* shortcode and add the category name to a custom field on the event itself for this.
