Add custom question to invoice

I am wanting to add a custom question “Company / Organization” to the Bill to portion of the invoice, how can that be done.

Hi there,

Assuming that question is answered by the Primary registrant and the ‘Question Text’ for that question is exactly ‘Company / Organization’, you can use the [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*] shortcode.

That shortcode takes the questions ‘Question Text’ just after the * and it must match exactly, so as mentioned, if you custom question’s ‘Question Text’ field is “Company / Organization” your shortcode would be:

[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*Company / Organization]

You can add that to the receipt/invoice templates in:

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates.
