Hi,

When I click the add to cart button it just spins and spins until I refresh the page and then I see View Cart. The same thing happens when I chose the number of tickets I would like to purchase the total just spins and spins.
URL: http://crowleyfolkschool.org/event-registration/?regevent_action=register&event_id=17

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try deactivating all non-Event Espresso plugins, then test to see if that fixes the problem. Then reactivate each plugin once by one testing between each activation by trying to add events to the cart. Once you create the problem again, you’ve found the plugin that has caused the problem.

Thanks but I have already tried that. Since it did not work I reactivated the plugins.

This is a multisite install could this be the problem?

I don’t think that should be a problem. Do you have SSL on the event pages? Can you post a link to the events page?

No SSL. It’s hooked up to paypal directly.

Yes I can add a link but sometimes if I’m not in HTML editor changes don’t get saved or my created button disappears. If I copy the code from another event post and replace it then the button shows up again… not sure if that means anything.

I do have a SiteLock for search provided by HostGator … just throwing ideas out there

OK, so I found out it’s the Event Espresso – Multi Event Registration plugin … I have removed and added everything … and this is the only one that makes the Add to Cart and Total spin.

What can I do? I’m in much need of getting this fixed.

thank you for your time it is most appreciated.

Hi Laney,

Can you try removing all the shortcodes from this page except for the one that is [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. Having additional shortcodes on the main registration page may be causing the conflict.

Just did … still doesn’t work.

Laney,

I’ve tried everything I know to try, and the issue is still occurring. The only thing I can think of now is the SiteLock you have setup with HostGator. Sometimes we do experience issues with those types of things (SSL, etc.).

It was the sitelock!!!!
It works now but …

When I add to cart, select number of tickets, fill out registration info and click confirm and go to payment page and it takes me to paypal and says “Your shopping cart is empty”.

what did I miss? We are so close but yet so far away 🙂

I really appreciate the help!

Hi,
First off thank you for all of the time and energy helping me resolve my issue.
Second, I have figured out what is causing the “Your shopping cart is empty” issue.
My theme is adding for whatever reason. If I remove them then everything works perfectly.

Thanks again for your time.
