Is there a way for an end user, once they have finalized their cart, to go back and add an additional person and respond to the appropriate question group? I have a teacher that submitted registrations and realized they left off a student. The questions that need to be answered for the student on the registration form are different than the primary registrant (again, another good reason to have question groups attached at the ticket level! 🙂 If the teacher completes a new form they have to re-purchase the teacher ticket in order to get to the student ticket that they need to fill in. Or is there some sort of tag that I can add to their confirmation email that would let them go in and make additions or changes to the data they submitted? Thanks.
Currently, you can’t add additional registrants to a group once they have finalized the registration. You would need to cancel the original group and create a new one with the correct number of tickets selected.
There is a shortcode you can add to the emails that allows users to edit the registrant details they have submitted (E.g [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FRONTEND_EDIT_REG_LINK]) however that does not allow you to add additional tickets/registrations but rather edit the information already submitted.
Just before the conference I have to download all the registrations and run them in our scheduling software to assign students to classes and contests. Is there a way for me to turn off this ability to edit after a certain date so that they don’t make changes after I’ve downloaded? Thanks.
It will likely be possible with custom development but we don’t have any functionality built into EE core to do it.
