I have had several requests now for including a signature field as part of the registration process. This is for legal purposes for the attendees to sign a waiver for various purposes. We’ve confirmed with Legal that a checkbox agreeing to terms is not sufficient, we must have a signature. Is there any provisions for this feature, or a recommended way to hook into the registration form to add custom code? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks for your request. Can you define for me what you view as a valid signature? Some people define it as people typing their name, some require a hand drawn sketch, etc.
Currently we do not have a question type that supports a drawn signature, so I’d like to know more what you’re looking for so we can consider it in the future.
I was thinking a hand drawn signature box. It has come up a few times for legal purposes. Currently, a form is handed out at the event for these types of waivers, however, the desire is to streamline the process by having the signature during registration.
