How would one add a custom email tag such that on an event, in the Advanced Options section of an Event Overview page, there would be an addition entry field for the venue (or location) email address.
Then when a confirmation email is sent to an attendee, there would be an email address the attendee could use.
Doesn’t look like we have a custom email tag for the venue email, but you should be able to add the email address to one of the other fields (like Phone, Website, or Image/Logo URL ) in the venue manager. The add one of these codes to your custom email:
[venue_url], [venue_image], [venue_phone]
So there is no way to modify the code to actually create a ‘new’ custom tag?
Also, when you mention “venue manager”, are you actually talking about the “event overview” and editing an event, than using one of the venue information fields in Advanced Options section?

Not at the moment. There is a lot of work that goes into adding new tags, but it is something we will think about in the future.
