Hi there, The “There has been a critical error on this website.” error message is a ‘front facing’ error shown to visitors. To investigate this further we’ll need the ‘real’ error being thrown which should be available within the site’s error logs. Your host will usually have a section you can view the logs in within your control panel. If you can post that here we can then narrow this down some. |

Hi there, That’s not from your PHP error log, I’m not sure what the above is from. Ar you comfortable with FTP/File manager and PHP? If so you can edit your site’s wp-config.php file, find:
Replace that single line with this snippet: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#wpdebug That tells you site to log the errors ina location I can view them, if you let me know when the above is in place I’ll test again and see if the error shows up. |

Seems to be working now, however the ‘Promotions’ Tab is not in the dashbaord. |
Is the promotions add-on installed and enabled? Go to Dashboard -> Plugins. Search for ‘Event Espresso – Promotions’, can you see an add-on there? |
