Hi,

Could you please tell me where to find the message that is received when a booker tries to book on a course that is full up. I wish to customise the message and suggest alternative dates.

Many thnaks.

Nick

Hi Nick,

Can you link to an event that shows the text? Or post the text shown here?

I just want to confirm we are on the right section. The problem with changing the text is it would be global, so each event would show the same dates. You would need come custom code to pull in dates for the event itself, the ability to do that depend on the exact string you mean.

Hi Tony,

I don’t need to direct people to another specific date of workshop, but I guess there is a standard message that pops up to say that ‘Sorry, this class is full’.

As I am running Workshops rather than classes I want to be able to customise the default message and then add something along the lines of ‘We’re sorry but this Workshop is now full. Please book your staff on to another Workshop or email xx@xx.xx with the number of staff still needing to be trained. Thank you.’

My courses are set up at https://dnainsight.co.uk/events/ which then link to the workshops at each of the three locations.

Thanks for your help.

Nick

There’s this message – http://take.ms/sbZMw

However, that only shows up when there is a single ticket on the event that is free, sold out and also the ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event’ option is set to 1 which sounds like a different event setup to what you are using.

Otherwise, the event will show the ticket selector with the tickets showing as sold out – http://take.ms/uMiEu
