Sometimes our clients need to submit additional payment without signing up for another event – is there any way to collect this type of payment through the Event Espresso system?
It depends on the specifics of what you need, but the short answer is no, we don’t have this available within Event Espresso.
You can track payments made through say Bank Transfer within EE manually, but initiating a payment for something other than an event registration is not something we currently have available.
So if the user sends a payment via bank transfer, you can add that payment into an existing transaction for one of their registrations but you can’t have a payment made through Event Espresso’s payment methods without the monies owning on the transaction itself.
Or, if you are looking to give the option of adding items onto a registration in progress, there is a 3rd party add-on that allows you to add values onto the questions if that helps?
For example, you could have a ticket price at $100 and then have options for a T-Shirt at $10, a Hat for $5 etc etc, those values are then added onto the registration before payment is made.
