Abandoned Cart – Message Activity does not show an email to registrant

EE4,

I am in active registration and I noticed that we had an abandoned cart. I wanted to be sure that this registrant had an opportunity to go back a fulfill his registration and make payment etc.

I read your thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/abandoned-registrations-is-there-a-way-to-send-a-link-to-complete-payment/ and I see that that the “Pending Payment” message is available. I want to know if this message goes out automatically upon an abandoned cart or if it has to be sent by the admin?

Hi Laura,

Event Espresso does not send any emails to abandoned registrations so this would nee to be triggered by the admin.

You could use the Payment Reminder email rather than pending payment (both similar), for that you can follow the steps posted HERE in that other thread.
