Hi,

Is there a way to be able to A/B page test the checkout process? Example: want to see if more people register for the courses if we remove some of the address form fields but have both options to see what performs the best.

Thanks and I look forward to your reply

Hi Chris,

According to these resources:

#9 – http://mono.company/journal/design-practice/the-10-commandments-of-good-form-design-on-the-web/

#5 & #6 – http://uxmovement.com/forms/8-reasons-users-arent-filling-out-your-sign-up-form/

…the shorter form should perform better.

However, it would be good to test rather than guess so if you have an event that takes place regularly (e.g. every other week or every month), then you could compare its prior registration numbers to an event that you ask for just a name and an email address.

Note that the minimum that Event Espresso needs for a registration is a first name and an email address.
