EE 4.2.9, no add-ons

Hi,
From what I understand, in EE3, registrations with the “Pending” payment status would still reserve a spot for the event. It seems that in EE4, registrations with the “Pending Payment” payment status do not reserve a spot or count toward the limited number of tickets available anymore.
The nature of my event is such that I want users to be able to register and claim a spot, even if they cannot pay right away. I would just set the default status to Approved, but I also still want to keep track of which attendees have and haven’t paid through EE (and pull that data for a publicly displayed event roster). Is there a payment method or option that can make this happen, or maybe a piece of custom code I could use to make Pending Payment registrations reserve a spot?

Hi Natalie,
Really the only way to do that would be to set them as Approved and then use the individual event Registrations overview to see who has and hasn’t paid (screenshot http://take.ms/Vcg73 )

Thanks, your reply pointed me in the right direction to grab the transaction status from the database for my event roster. Just what I needed! =)
