I have just started on Event Espresso. I have just discovered that an event that I have put up has sold a ticket after I changed the ticket number to the number of people who had booked. I did this because I needed to cancel the bookings but I needed to contact the people who had registered to give them options to join other classes before I cancelled it. It may have been because one of the people who booked is showing as a pending (paying through invoice) and this then opened her ticket to be purchased by another person. I think this is the reason it booked out but I want to be sure as I can not have people being able to book in after the event is sold out. So my question is: Once an event has sold all the tickets does Event espresso stop taking bookings even though the ticket selling date may not be reached. Please note, There is no longer an option to pay by invoice.

Hi there,

Yes, if the ‘sold’ value for the tickets/datetime has reached the limit set on either then ticket sales will stop, regardless of what is set on the ticket sale date.

Can you post a screenshot of the Event Tickets & Datetimes section for the event?
