Hello,
On our website when you open an event (http://www.rietveldtheater.nl/kaarten/funktioneel-naakt-de-verhoren/), de following message occurs:
Warning: dns_get_record(): A temporary server error occurred. in /home/frerik26/domains/rietveldtheater.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-requirements-check/espresso_requirements_check.php on line 75

Warning: file_get_contents(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution in /home/frerik26/domains/rietveldtheater.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-requirements-check/espresso_requirements_check.php on line 133

It says temporary, but is visable for over 4 hours now. I have no idea how to solve it. Can you please help?

Best regards,
Tamara Kuipers

Hi there,

Go to Dashboard -> Plugins.

Search for ‘Event Espresso Requirements Check’ and de-activate the plugin.
That plugin is intended to be used to confirm your server meets the minimum requirements, not all failure means EE will not work and the above is not an issue.

You can also delete the requirements check plugin if preferred, it is not required for EE to work.

You can solve this by deactivating and removing the Event Espresso requirements check plugin. That particular plugin is not intended to be left activated on a website. It’s intended only to be used once for checking and gathering information about the server, then after you’re done it should be removed.
