Hi

I am about to create one event registration site that will be pretty straightforward, where 300 Attendants have to be able to register. The details have to be transferred into an excel sheet and the payment shall be possible via credit card, cheque or bank transfer.

Can Event Espresso do this and what (in terms of the payment options I need) would be the best solution for me in terms of gateways? This is possible to do via a personal one site license right? Thanks very much 🙂 Amsandra

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.

Event Espresso can certainly handle standard registrations, payments and attendee export to CSV (spreadsheet).

You can do this via EE3 or EE4 (test drive EE4 over at http://demoee.oeg for free).

Each version has different gateways available for it, so you would be best checking here to find out which onefits your needs better (https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/ click the tabs to see the gateways).

Regarding which gateway to use? That’s highly dependant on your location and own preferences. Do you want an offsite gateway (such as PayPal) or a gateway that allows users to pay on your own site(PayPal Pro, Stripe).

On site gateways such as Stripe may require an SSL certificate (separate to Event Espresso), so if you decide on a gateway, you’re best off to check it’s requirements.

The Personal Licence for EE3 would be sufficient as far as I can tell, or of course EE4.

Please note that offline gateways such as Bank Transfer, Invoice and Cheque do not process anything, they merely allow you to provide the appropriate information (bank details, where to send money etc.).

I hope that helps!
