404 error with Post name links

I created an event but I can’t see the page because I get a 404 error. If I set permanent URLs as “Default”, I see the events page created automatically by the plugin.
However, if I set “Post name” as the permanent link, I see the 404 error.

Could you please let me know how to fix this?

Thank you

Josh

Hi there,

It could be a number of things that would cause this issue. Is your server set up to support WordPress custom permalinks? If you’re not sure you can check with your host and refer to this guide:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks

If the server is set up to support Permalinks, it may be an issue with the WordPress installation. Is WordPress installed in the server’s root directory? If not, do the WP>Settings site URL and blog URL match?
