3dsecure Strong Customer Authentication

Is there any plan to update the Braintree or Stripe plugin with functionality for the new 3dsecure directive.

This is very important to me as I would have to either get this fixed or look at other event plugins that use woocommerce for payment in the short to medium term

Hi there,

Version 1.1.4.p+ of the Stripe payment method supports SCA.

If using Stripe you can go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe.

Set the ‘Integration Type*’ option to ‘Stripe Elements’.

That integration method supports 3D Secure and therefor SCA.

We do have plans to update the Braintree add-on to support 3D secure and a developer is investigating the integration, I don’t have an ETA on a release at this time.
