2 Attendees on same registration – cannot change second name

We had someone register 2 people for an event however at the time we didn’t have the question groups enabled. So both registrations had the same name & email. Now when I try to change the second registration to the 2nd name & email address, both registrations still update to the different name.
Anyone advise how i rectify this?

Hi there,

If you edit the second registration, do you see a create contact button? –

If you click that EE will create a new contact for the second registration, note that when you click it EE creates a duplicate of the current contact so the details will look the same until changed.
