Hi,

I have read the other topics on 100% coupon code, but I don’t know what is happening. I have set off the multi event registration extension and the 100% coupon code still make completed registrations as «incomplete». Could you help me?

Hi Daniel,

This was an issue before 3.1.28, but has since been fixed. Can you check to see if you’re running the latest version of Event Espresso, its add-ons are up to date, and also please check if there are any older templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates?

Ok thanks, that worked, I upedated WP and Event Espresso and now this works. However, it seems that I can’t translate EE anymore. When I try to modify it in localisation plugin, here is the answer :
Your translation file doesn’t support the multiple textdomains in one translation file extension.
Please re-scan the related source files at the overview page to enable this feature.
What sould I do?

Hi Daniel,

The translation files have been moved to Github. In this case, it sounds like you’re using a plugin to translate. You may need to download the pot file from here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/languages

You can actually run the customized language files now in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages and they will not get overwritten on an update.

Sorry, I wrote that it worked… Well it seems that it doesn’t work anymore /never did… I updated everything and now, when someone uses a coupon code 100%, the payment doesn’t appear as completed….

Hi Daniel,

I’m not able to reproduce this on any of my test sites. Which version of Event Espresso, and what are the version numbers of the add-on?

Are there any caching plugins installed on this site?

Can you post a link to the registration page where this is happening?

Hi Daniel,

Are there any Event Espresso add-ons installed? If so what are the version numbers of these?

I just uninstalled them (I didn’t need them anymore) and it still doesn’t work…

Hi Daniel,

I get a completely different result. But I noticed a few things in your video that make me wonder.

Which browser are you using, and which version?

You mentioned earlier that there are no caching plugins, but from the screenshot it appears that W3 total cache is installed on this site? Can you check to see if you get the same results when you test a registration while being logged into the site?

Hi,

I just deleted W3 cache (it was unactivated)
I just tried while logged in – didn’t work
I also re-tried no logged in – didn’t work
I’m using google chrome 24.0.1312.57 m
Sorry to bother you with this, but since many customers are going to use this feature, I would like it to work properly and not have to worry about deleting someone with a code.

Hi Daniel,

Before you delete a plugin, especially one that does caching, it’s important to make sure that things like the cache was cleared. Simply deleting it will not always clear the cache.

Let’s try this:

Can you create a new event for testing purposes, that uses a new promo code (that means you’ll need to also create a new 100% promo code)? Then run a test on that event.

Same result with the new test event : http://www.defientreprises.com/inscriptions-defientreprises/?ee=25

Thanks for the advice concernaning the plugin.

Hi Daniel,

Can you try registering for free here? I’d like to rule out if there’s an issue with your browser:

https://eetesting.info/3.1.josh/?page_id=4&ee=1525

You can use promo code 100

I just did. I don’t think the problem is with my browser, as even when customers register with 100% coupon code, the registration appears as «incomplete»…

Any ideas I might try?

Hi Daniel,

I didn’t see your registration come in. Aside from checking any browser issues, it will be good to know which version of PHP and mySQL your server is on. You can find these details from the Event Espresso>System Status page.

Hi Daniel,

I see that you’ve purchase a support token for the attendee list customization. I can take a look while I’m working on that.

Can you send us temporary WP admin and FTP credentials via this page along with the details of your customization request?

Hi Daniel,

I’m sorry that it’s taken so long to get back with you on this. In this case, there’s a variable that is getting assigned a value that’s being run through a translation function.

I’m creating a ticket so this can be fixed and released in an update.
