Hi,
I am new to EE, would like to know the standard way to setup an event with multiple workshop. Basically customer just need to pay for the event and choose whatever workshops they wish to attend as long as the time is not clash. Guide needed.

Hi there,
EE does not allow you to set up an event in which they register and then select the times they want to attend. You would usually need to setup your tickets for specific workshops and then the user selects the relevant tickets, then registers. EE will not prevent the user from booking onto ‘workshops’ that clash (time wise).
If you can provide some de3tails of the setup we can advise how/if you can set that up with EE.

We are organizing a 2 days event. Customer just need to bought 1 ticket to join the event. We offer few workshops in the event and customer are allow to join any of the events.
From the system perspective, after user select the ticket, customer have to choose what are the workshops they wish to attend.
Need your guidance how can we setup this.

With the above, you can have an ‘Admittance’ ticket which can be set to required, so the user must select at least one of those tickets and then you can have X tickets for the workshops so the user can select them during the registration.

You can use various different ticket combinations with this, but the general idea is that the user selects an ‘Admission’ ticket and then the workshops they want to attend.
Will that work for you?
From the system perspective, after user select the ticket, customer have to choose what are the workshops they wish to attend.
Again, EE doesn’t allow you to set up the event so that the user can select the workshops after they selected their ticket(s) unless you don’t need to track attendance at all for those workshops?
