I’m assuming that question is assigned to the Primary registrant?

If so then yes you can do what you are looking for.

Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Registration Approved -> Event Admin.

Make sure you are editing the correct context, see here:

Now, in the subject field you want to call the value for the above question, if you question text is “How should we send these?” you can use this shortcode:

[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*How should we send these?]

Note the text between the * and the ] must match the ‘Question text’ field for your chosen question exactly.

In your case should output:

Event Registration Details (Email (Day pass only!))

Or
